Whilst a complete bathroom makeover can be an expensive business, and not necessary on a regular basis, a swapping in some new towels and accessories can provide a quick new and affordable look.
Here at Fuss Free Living we love:
Inside Out Bathroom Cabinet from Red Candy. It is an expensive £395, but is built to last from recycled aluminium and we think looks great. A statement designer piece.
Navy Blue Haman Towel from The Hamam Towel Company; £18. Anoyingly John Lewis have discontinued the colour that nearly all my towels are in so I am looking for some alternatives. These cloth towels rather than towelling, are stylish, lightweight and available in 15 shades. They’ve been used in Turkish Baths for centuries. Also perfect for taking travelling as a towel, beach mat, wrap or lightweight throw.
Soap Dispenser from Berry Red; £9.50. Designed to look like an old fashioned bar of soap, these ceramic dispensers are available in a number of colours. Perfect for adding a splash of colour to either the bathroom or kitchen.
Off the Hook Shower Head from Maiden; £15.95. Fun, funky and easy to fit. Sure to raise a smile most mornings
White & Eau de Nil Haman Towel from Febronie; £28. A generous 200 x 100cm.
Fish Soap on a Rope from the Great Gift Company; £9. An up to date soap on a rope, fun and would make a great present for man who does not really need anything.
Striped Cotton Nautical Towel from The Best Bed Linen In the World; from £20. Clean, bright and nautically inspired.
Mango Wood Bath Rack from Doris and Boris; £38.25. Made from sustainable mango wood we love the square lines on this bath rack.
Wooden Wall Hooks – Coat Eggs from Great British Designs; £45. Love these sleek and tactile egg shaped hooks. Made of solid beech they screw into the wall and sit and an angle. Handmade in Yorkshire.
Sitting hen and egg soaps in porcelain dish from Annabel James; £23.95. A soap hen and three eggs sitting in a porcelain soap dish packed into a pretty presentation box. Original and would make a lovely Easter present.
Linen / Hamam towel – Coral Pink from the Haman Towel Company; £28. I love traditional linen towels, and this one is as versatile as all the others.
Cherry Loo Brush from The Gift Oasis; £29.50. It’s bright and fun (insofar as a loo brush can be fun). Hopefully it will encourage someone else to clean the loo!

Really great post! I recently gave our bathroom a little update with a coat of paint only on our skirting boards and door, and switched out the old tired towels for some fluffy fresh ones, and it’s made so much of a difference already. I love that bath rack.. I think that might be what mine is missing.
