I’d love to share a hot chocolate with my daughter & grandson. Sadly they live hundreds of miles away from me & although I Skype regularly with them, & I love doing that, its not the same as being with them.
I’ll see them for a big family wedding in May, but thats just for a long weekend, then not again till Christmas.
I sometimes just want to just go to them & hugs them.
We both love our hot chocolate & when she was younger she would rush home from school & I’d have the drinks ready & we would sit down & watch Deal or No Deal will munching through a packed of custard creams. Was lovely before the other children came in or woke from nap. This was just my special time with her. I tried to have a few minutes with each of them every day, having five children I felt it was improtant for them all to have time with me alone.
If I was lucky enough to win I’d send her half of the prize & then arrange a Skype for us all to be sat there with steaming hot chocolate & custard creams, at least we would share that time again.
